Pripara Save Editor 1.0.0 (NS)

Hello!

It's been a long time since this save editor was created, I think it deserves a proper post about it.

Pripara SE was my first tool for modding, after this one I couldn't stop developing my own tools for file editing.

For my luck, Pripara: AIPS save file had a very simple structure, it's even possible to create all the save file programmatically, and that's rare by my experience.

I used list views for each array list and would use images to make the user's life easier, but I wanted to avoid any use of external content in the software.

 

Instead I've created a document with all the ID codes, and the user can use it to add new items to the save file.

Yokai Watch 4 Translation Research

Hello! 

I was doing some research on Yokai Watch 4 files to understand how I could modify the files and do some modding for the game, I was objectively interested in the Text files, since it would be nice to know if I wanted to translate the game.

If you modify any file and don't alter its size, your mod will work, otherwise, you'll need to alter one more file called cpk_list.cfg.bin. This file contains the localization of all others with their size, so you must alter it in order to succeed.

With that in mind I've created a tool, with it is possible alter the cpk_list.cfg.bin and the files that contain text.

It will be really useful in case of I try a translation for the game.

I  noticed that the actual existing translation project for the game have some issues related to the text files, in my view some appear to be invalid, maybe for that reason the project died? Well, I don't know.

Here's the new version of AYW4 Save Editor!

So, what's new?

As planned, it has the new Equipment feature.

Now you can remove or replace slots of equipment and change their quantity, very similar to how you already did in the Foods/Consumable tab.

Be aware that this software still in its alpha version, it's recommended the creation of a backup file before using this.

Hello!
